20th Annual RACE FOR LIFE **
The RACE FOR LIFE is a special BMX event where riders and parents fundraise to gather donations for the BC Children’s Hospital Leukemia Cancer Research. To date, Nanaimo BMX and fellow BC ABA tracks have raised over $329,800. BMX members presented a cheque in October for $60,029 to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation for funds raised from BC tracks in 2011. This past year, Nanaimo BMX contributed over $12,000 and this year’s goal is to reach $15,000. It’s all about kids helping kids.
You don`t have to be an ABA member to try BMX.
100% of non-member race fees are donated. Anyone can participate in this race: families, friends and neighbours – just bring a bike and your $10 donation (non-members).
